We celebrate the life of Mrs. Chow Yu Wun

Mrs. Chow - our loving mother - our caring grandmother - our incredible great grandmother.

She was born in Hong Kong in 1929.

She liked telling us about her life during the time of World War II in Hong Kong. Life was hard for her at the age of 13 to feed her family with her mother and 4 siblings. This life experience built her character up to be strong-willed and hard working. Hence, she became a self-confident and competent grown-up.

She met Dad and hence happily married in her early 20's. Tet together had 6 children. In the family, she had proved herself as an indispensable partner to dad. They ran a small family business which became very successful. She had always been a loving and caring wife and mother, especially she was a superb home chef.

Sadly, she became a widow in her early 50's at the sudden death of Dad. However, she tried her best and pulled herself together to become both the mother and the father to us.

In the later part of her life, she was a Grandmother with 9 Grandchildren and 7 great Grandchildren. She continued to bestow her love unconditionally to them.

As a remarkably smart lady, she had always been considerate to others. She even planned her own exit celebration at her funeral.

In loving memory, we will never forget her generosity, great smile, charming character, loving care and kindness, and sharing of tasty gourmet with others.

We miss you dearly!
